67th D-Day Anniversary: St. Mere Eglise | 34 weeks 5 days | Soldiers from the 21st Theater Sustainment Command’s 5th Quartermasters Detachment prepare to march as the French Army Band passes by during a dedication ceremony at the Signal Monument in St. Mere Eglise, France, June 6. The ceremony was held as a way to honor the veterans of the 82nd Airborne Division and 101st Airborne division. During the ceremony World War II veteran, Robert Wright was on hand to receive a metal for his action as a medic during the invasion of Normandy.
