Greenhouse Projects in Afghanistan 2 years 2 days U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Robert Kendall of Reno, Nev., assigned to the Nuristan Provincial Reconstruction Team's security forces, greets the foreman of a local construction company during an inspection of a greenhouse project in eastern Afghanistan's Nuristan province, Jan. 28. The United States Agency for International Development and the Department of Agriculture assessed the progression of the greenhouses. The greenhouses are part of a project jointly funded by the 2nd Battalion, 77th Field Artillery Regiment, and the Nuristan Provincial Reconstruction Team, to provide fresh vegetables for the people throughout the region. Turning a Wrench 2 years 5 days Spc. Jesse A. Jenkins, a gun truck driver from Bruce, Miss., serving with Q-West's quick reaction force for vehicle recovery, turns a wrench during preventative maintenance checks and services, Jan. 20.
