Every Friday the 380th AEW holds a wing-wide retreat ceremony honoring the American flag. KC-10s Continue U.S. Central Command Air Refueling Ops | 1 year 50 weeks | A KC-10 Extender assigned to the 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron at a non-disclosed location in Southwest Asia for a combat air refueling mission, Feb. 5. The KC-10 is used extensively for air refueling operations in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom, the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa, and Operation Enduring Freedom. In 2009, KC-10s from the 908th EARS offloaded more than 422 million pounds of fuel on more than 4,700 combat sorties.
