Memorial Day Ceremony at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Fort Leonard Wood 36 weeks 2 hours Community members gathered for a Memorial Day ceremony Monday, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery — Fort Leonard Wood, to honor the Veterans whose dedication and sacrifice have preserved our nation and its freedoms. The Missouri Veterans Cemetery at FLW, was formally dedicated, Sept. 13, 2010, and is the fifth operational state Veterans cemetery in the state of Missouri. The Cemetery Property was donated by the U.S. Army Maneuver Support Center and Fort Leonard Wood and is situated on 229 beautiful acres.
