Polishing Brass

Petty Officer 3rd Class Ryan Cash, boatswain's mate, polishes the brass of a wildcat on the foc'sle of the guided-missile cruiser USS Hue City. The wildcat is a sprocket wheel for taking links of chain cable. Hue City is deployed as part of an ongoing rotation of forward-deployed forces to support maritime security operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
