Embark Into the Pacific Ocean

A Marine with 1st Platoon, Alpha Company, 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion, walks to his appointed amphibious assault vehicle to embark into the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Camp Pendleton, Calif., Feb. 24, to load onto USS Dubuque. This training is part of Exercise Iron Fist, a bilateral training exercise designed to enhance interoperability and build amphibious capabilities.
