IMEF General visits 11th MEU/MKI

Lt. Gen. Thomas D. Waldhauser, commanding general, I Marine Expeditionary Force, arrives on the flight deck of USS Makin Island in a UH1-Y Huey from Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 367 "Scarface," during Exercise Iron Fist here Feb. 24. Marines with the MEU and soldiers with the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force, Western Army Infantry Regiment, are participating in the bilateral training to enhance their amphibious knowledge.
