Engineer Soldiers Cut Ribbon

In this image released by the Texas Military Forces, soldiers with the 836th Engineer Detachment cut the "ribbon," officially welcoming the detachment to Austin. The 836th Eng. Det. Is a part of the 6th CBRN Task Force, a unit trained to augment civilian emergency response in the event of a chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear incident. The creation of the detachment allows the Texas National Guard to better position itself to respond during times of need.
