Set Firsts

A New Zealand Defence Force staff sergeant stands at attention after laying a wreath in the water in honor of ANZAC Day during Pacific Partnership 2011. ANZAC day is a day of rememberance for all servicemen and women who have given their lives in all of Australia and New Zealand's wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. Pacific Partnership is an annual humanitarian assistance initiative which has recently completed its mission in Tonga and will visit Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste and the Federated States of Micronesia.
