Suspected Cell Leader, High-value Terrorist Detained

An alleged terrorist is detained, Sunday, April 11, by Iraqi security forces from the Abassi Iraqi Police Station, near Hawijah, Iraq along with assistance from 1st Battalion, 37th Armor, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division out of Fort Bliss, Texas. The suspect, a leader of an improvised explosive device cell in Hawijah, is suspected of involvement with numerous murders and bombings against Iraqi citizens and Iraqi and U.S. forces.
