USS Whidbey Island Action

Sailors assigned to deck department on-load supplies during a connected replenishment at sea with USNS Big Horn aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Whidbey Island. The Whidbey Island is part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, which deployed ahead of its original schedule in order to relieve units from the Kearsage Amphibious Ready Group in the Mediterranean.
