Nuristan Provincial Reconstruction Team Visits Local Villagers

Petty Officer 2nd Class William Padilla, Nuristan Provincial Reconstruction Team Military Police, from Pearland, Texas, utilizes the Handheld Interagency Identity Detection Equipment, a component of the Biometric Automated Tool set, during a mission in Nurgram District Center, May 13. The BAT and HIIDE technology are used to collect and store critical biometric data to include fingerprint, eye and facial, data which is then stored in the database used to identify individuals within the Nuristan province.
