USS Mesa Verde

Sailors assigned to Beachmaster Unit 2, embarked aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde, direct Landing Craft Air Cushion 87, assigned to Assault Craft Unit 4, onto the beach. Mesa Verde and ACU-4 are part of the Nassau Amphibious Ready Group, which is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation operations.
