Parwan PRT Assesses Future of Project

U.S. Army Capt. Sungmin Kim, Parwan Provincial Reconstruction Team's U.S. Army Corps of Engineers engineer from Willowbook, Ill.; Gary Hinkle, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers engineer and U.S. Navy Lt. j.g. Doug Jih, Parwan PRT engineer from Flushing, N.Y., assess the Jabal-E-Saraj water intake facility June 15 in Jabal-E-Saraj, Parwan province. The PRT's engineers conducted this mission to collect information on the power plant, a water intake facility and a girls' school, which are currently under construction by the Afghan government with assistance from the PRT team.
