Guam Liberation Day Celebrated in Afghanistan

Guam Army National Guard Spc. Jesse M. Muna of Yigo, Guam, Provincial Reconstruction Team Security Forces member, celebrates the 66th anniversary of Guam Liberation Day on Forward Operating Base Farah, July 23, 2010. Guam Liberation Day is normally celebrated on July 21 with parades and fireworks. Due to mission requirements, the soldiers assigned to PRT Farah celebrated two days later signifying the importance of the day in Guam’s history.
