40ID ADT, Chowkay District Gov't to Launch First Demonstration Farm in Kunar Province

U.S. Army Sgt. Jason Stevens, Agribusiness Development Team orchardist and native of Lynchburg, Va., looks at the soil of the Chowkay District demonstration farm here July 19. This is the first demonstration farm built by the ADT in eastern Afghanistan’s Kunar Province and will be used to show local farmers alternative methods of planting to help increase crop production in the area.
