Katie Couric, news anchor with CBS Evening News, center, interviews Afghan Air Force Lieutenants on the flight line of the Afghan Air Force base in Kabul, Afghanistan on Aug. 18. Couric visited the AAF base to interview both Lt. Gen. William B. Caldwell, Commanding General, NATO Training Mission, Combined Security Transition Command - Afghanistan, and Brig. Gen. Michael Boera, 438th Air Expeditionary Wing, Combined Air Power Transition Force, about the current state of NTM-A as well as the AFF with particular interest in the America advisory role.
