New Bridge Built on Washed-out Route Arnhem

The leadership of 7th Engineer Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division inspected a bridge construction site on Route Arnhem in Maysan province, Sept. 6. The bridge, located near the border of Dhi Qar and Maysan Provinces, is near completion and will replace the temporary bridge currently in the area that was built when the road was washed. The 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division is deployed from Fort Bliss, Texas, to Maysan province in Iraq, where they advise and assist Iraqi security forces. Photo by Princeville Lawrence
