Petty Officer 1st Class James Lester, aviation structural mechanic, from Arkadelphia, Ark., practices for his annual welding re-certification exam by welding aluminum plates aboard the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman. The Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group is deployed supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
