Ceremony at Honolulu's National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl
Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Seiji Maehara, presents a wreath at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl to honor the service members who have sacrificed their lives throughout the Pacific. During the ceremony, the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Pacific Band played, the U.S. Pacific Command Joint Service Color Guard supported with a flag detail and the U.S. Pacific Air Forces Firing Squad rendered a three-gun volley. Minister Maehara is in Hawaii in order to meet with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.
