Marines Celebrate 235 Years

Members from the Camp Courtney Young Marines escort the birthday cake during the Young Marines’ birthday celebration Oct. 23 at Tengan Castle. The Young Marines program focuses on character building through a combination of self-discipline, teamwork and leadership, and it promotes a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. Members learn about Marine Corps history, customs and courtesies and traditions such as the Marine Corps Birthday.
