ANP, Nuristan PRT Meet With Girls School Staff

A man walks his son down the halls of a school in Nangaresh Village, Nov. 20. Working with the Afghan government to improving education in the Nuristan Province is one focus of the PRT. The PRT visited the school with government officials to distribute school supplies donated by the Matthew Freeman Project. PRTs operating in Afghanistan focus on improving the government’s ability to provide security and meet the many other needs of its citizens.
