Marine Engineers Leave Lasting Impact During Afghanistan Deployment

Marine color guard retires the colors after a transfer of authority ceremony at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, Nov. 25, in which the Marines of 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward) transferred authority to the North Carolina-based 8th Engineer Support Battalion, officially marking the completion of their seven-month deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
