New Hampshire Guard Unit Returns from Afghanistan

Spc. Mark McLynch of Manchester, N.H., a rifleman with 3rd platoon C Company 3rd Battalion 172 Infantry (Mountain), received an Army Commendation Medal at Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center, Ind., Nov 29. C Company was at Camp Atterbury for the demobilization process. McLynch received the medal for exceptional meritorious service during his company’s deployment to Afghanistan.
