Squadron commanders from the 332nd ESFS, 532nd ESFS and 732nd ESFS awarded each Airman from their squadron an Iraqi Campaign Medal for their service prior to their redeployment home. On Nov. 29, 2004, Public Law 108-234 and Executive Order 13363 approved the Iraq Campaign Medal to recognize servicemembers who are serving or have served in Iraq and the contiguous water area out to 12 nautical miles, and all air spaces above the land and above the contiguous water area out to 12 nautical miles of Iraq.
